Hi! I'm Michelle Bell, the partner/owner of Pedal Rancho Cucamonga. Originally from Chicago (GO CUBS!) I moved out here from the windy city with many goals in tow. I moved out here to pursue a music career, which has been so much fun and some fantastic opportunities have come my way! I'm a fashion/film makeup artist, a licensed esthetician AND a certified SPINNING instructor. I love meeting new people and seeing familiar faces. My sis-in-law Cindy (Go PEDAL Montrose) and I decided to open PEDAL simply because we could never get a bike at the gym and we both LOVE to SPIN. My goal is to create an inviting environment where everyone feels welcome and accepted no matter what fitness level they are at, and one that brings the community together! I have been teaching spin for 8 years, and I am excited to be teaching here at Pedal Spin. I am also a certified athletic trainer at a high school where I also teach health and sports medicine. I love playing all different types of music during my classes from alternative to country and everything in between. I like to have fun while working hard in my classes, and love teaching interval classes. When I am not spinning I like to bike, wakeboard, and snowboard with my husband and spend time with our son Aiden.
Hi, my name is Cindy Bohler and I am thrilled to be a part of the Pedal Family. After spending the past six years spinning, running, and doing countless bootcamps I decided to get Madd Dog certified. Now my goal is to create classes that will challenge, strengthen, and motivate riders. I have found spinning to be more than just a physically challenging exercise, but also a mental challenge as well. “It’s cheaper than therapy I always say!!” It is an incredible feeling to set goals each day and accomplish more than you thought you were capable of. Lastly, my goal for you is to have you leave each class a little stronger, more accomplished and ready to face the day! See you there!”
Hi, I’m Patrick. I enjoy poetry, candlelight dinners, and long walks on the beach. Oh wait wrong profile! Actually I like all those things, but I love spinning. I’ve been teaching classes for over 6 years and have been a personal trainer for 11 years. Currently I am working as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of California Riverside while I finish my degree in Kinesiology. My classes are all about having fun and working hard. I love pushing myself to the limit and cracking jokes at the same time. So if you’re looking for a challenge or you just like hearing cheesy jokes maybe you can join me for a class.
I have been studying health and nutrition for several years. I have been involved in sports nutrition, weight management, fitness and public speaking, culminating in a Bachelors of Science Degree in Health/Nutrition and Food Science from San Jose State University. I am Certified through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) and have been working as a personal trainer for five years. I also hold a certification through Mad Dogg Spinning as an instructor, as well as a CPR certification. My mission is to teach people that being active and eating healthy is a lifestyle, not a fad. Being fit and eating healthfully is a choice, and knowing how to make the right choices makes all the difference. I want my clients to learn how to effectively and safely lose weight, gain muscle, and continue to reach and exceed their fitness goals. Canadian born and raised, I have been a lover of the power of music my entire life. I decided to learn how to use that power to move people and became a DJ. I LOVE my job and was excited to join PEDAL's team. It didn't take long for me to become addicted to the Vibe at PEDAL and the community that is PEDAL. I am SPIN Certified and now I'm moving people on the bikes as well as the dance floor! My Class: Party on the bike. My Music: Im a DJ who loves to JAM. Hi - I'm Hydee Bloedorn! In my pursuit to discover the perfect exercise, one that would burn tons of calories, be low impact and most importantly keep me motivated to return the next time, I stumbled upon Pedal Spin Studio in Claremont. I was inspired by Michelle and her awesome team, and have been hooked ever since. I found it so different from other spin classes where it seems like the instructors had little interest in making it fun or worthwhile. I love the club like atmosphere and the push it gives me to pedal my hardest. I liked it so much so that I obtained my spinning certification through Mad Dogg Athletics and now I’m very excited to be part of the team and I’m looking forward to inspiring others to do their best, get or stay in shape and have a blast while doing so.
Spinning is my energizer, stress reliever and motivator to stay fit. Teaching spin, makes me want everyone to experience these feelings and reach their own personal goals. Hi! My name is Kristal Calderas! I’m a mom of 2 super busy, super fun little boys! They keep me moving, and sometimes make me a little crazy! To help me keep up with them I try and keep active, I’ve been practicing yoga for over 15 years, I’m an on and off again runner (more on lately), and I love to hike and camp, basically anything outdoors! I was introduced to Spinning in 2010 and was completely intimidated! But after my first class I was HOOKED! I started working at PEDAL RANCHO in early 2011 at the front desk, and the more classes I took the more I knew I had to get certified! And now I love, love, love what I do! My name is Cynthia Gomez. I was born and raised in Southern California. Can't say I have always been physically active, until I started running on a treadmill at home because I hated going to the gym, but that wasn't always very motivating. One day in March of 2010, I decided I wanted to try a Spin class. I was completely intimidated and worried that I wouldn't be able to keep up!! To my surprise and amazement, I was instantly addicted. I bought my spin shoes the very next day and began taking every class I possibly could!!! I discovered Spin was the perfect work-out for me. I was an ACE (American Counsel of Exercise) certified fitness instructor in the Bay Area throughout college prior to moving to southern California to pursue a career in law enforcement. After 10 years, I “retired” to become a stay at home mother of two beautiful children! I have always maintained an active lifestyle, including but not limited to: running half marathons, scuba diving, martial arts and of course, SPINNING! I am Mad Dogg certified and love to SPIN! My music consists of what you hear on the radio today mixed with some “Old School” Hip-Hop and Alternative. Come join me for a fun, energetic ride!
As mom of two boys Tracey Hills is no stranger to the athleticism in life’s day-to-day stress. Creating challenges that go beyond Spin class are crucial to Tracey’s teaching style. She believes boundaries are there to be pushed. Tracey’s background in fitness and dance inspires her love for music. Music plays a huge role in guiding and encouraging her classes to push hard, pedal faster, and climb longer. Tracey is a Mad Dogg certified Spin Instructor and past half-marathon enthusiast. After running several races she felt it was time to look for a lower impact form of exercise. She found Pedal Spin Studio and was hooked. Her running training has enabled Tracey to focus on the importance of form, pacing, and the importance of maintaining an active life style.
Always looking to switch up her fitness routine, Tracey took her first reformer class with Stacey Ziegler. She found the 50-minute circuit style Pilates classes left her challenged and wanting more. With a background in dance she felt that the mind body connection used in Pilates was a foundation in which she wanted to explore more. Those strong desires to learn more lead her to begin her Pilates education. Tracey holds a certification from Balance Body Pilates in the Reformer. She is currently expanding her knowledge in Pilates by attending workshops while studying and practicing with Stacey Ziegler.
I was motivated to improve my own health. Being a busy working mother of two children and operating my own pediatric occupational therapy clinical practice, it was challenging to do. But I wanted a change and decided to make time for myself, so I joined PEDAL in February 2013. I instantly developed a passion for spin and got so inspired and motivated by PEDAL’s amazing spinning instructors. I have lost a total of 40 lbs and have maintained it. With the support and encouragement from my spinning instructors, I decided to get certified. I am absolutely thrilled to be part of the PEDAL team! I would have never thought that I could have achieved something such as this! It just goes to show that it is never too late to start something new and to set a new goal. From Hip Hop, Club, Alternative/Rock, Pop, to instrumental music….the beat of the music and the lyrics to an inspirational song is what will drive you to push yourself to your limits in my spin class. My passion for fitness began after my second son was born... Tired of being tired, I decided to get back in the gym and get back in shape! Hi! I’m Lauren, and I’m addicted to Pilates! Inspired by my very first Pilates class, I decided to become a teacher. Studying under Michelle Larson, Ruth Alpert and Virginia Nicholas of Core Dynamics Pilates gave me a classical and comprehensive approach to teaching Pilates. Several years later, I continued my education in the wellness field by becoming a certified massage therapist. And most recently, I studied under Marie Jose-Blom, Kendel Pink and Alicia Head of Long Beach Dance and Conditioning. In my free time I enjoy playing music. I sing, play guitar and write. My band is called Annabelle Lee. When I’m not playing music, I’m sewing. I love to sew! Anything and everything. I try to eat as healthy as possible. I’m a vegetarian and I love my veggies. I eat a salad a day with at least one raw vegetable in it! Also, I like to start my day with a pea protein fruit smoothie. Locally, there are a lot of healthy restaurants that I enjoy. Le Pain Quotidien has a huge variety of organic options. Also, Jamba juice is great for a nice fruit/protein pick me up. When I’m having a sweet tooth, Some Crust Bakery has the best chocolate chip cookies! I look forward to every chance I have to learn and become a better teacher. I hope to see you in class!
